Swelling (oedema) is common in pregnancy.Circulation changes can cause swelling, usually wrists, hands, feet and ankles.
You may find that the hot weather, being on your feet a lot or being in the third trimester of your pregnancy can cause an increase in swelling. However, if you have a sudden increase or severe
amounts of swelling speak to your doctor or midwife promptly.

feeling rather than the pain coming from other parts of your body, such as your contractions, so many women have found TENS to be an effective pain-relief method during labour.
